Preparation for
filing a Patent Application
- Name, Nationality and Address of Applicant(s).
- Name, Nationality and Address of Inventor(s) .
- A specification and necessary drawings.
- Please inform us if a substantive examination is required when filing.
- Power of Attorney (No notarization required).
- Assignment. (Executed by the inventor(s)).
- Certified Priority Documents if any.
(Above-mentioned from 5 to 7 documents can be submitted within 3 months from the filing date)
Preparation for
filing a Trademark Application
- Name, Nationality and Address of Applicant.
- Identification of Goods that wish to designate for trademark application.
- Trademark specimen in electronic file.
- Power of Attorney (No notarization required).
- Certified Priority Documents, if any.
(Above-mentioned 4 and 5 documents can be submitted within 3 months from the filing date)
Under Taiwan Patent and Trademark Act, the Original Power of Attorney signed by the applicant may be submitted at the same time of filing the above application or submitted within 3 months from filing date.
When you authorize us to file a patent/trademark application in Taiwan, please send us the Original Power of Attorney signed by the applicant as well. A POA form is enclosed in the below for your download.
